Elise and Matty Hu-Stiles live in Austin, Texas Washington, DC with three cats and a beagle. They are both online journalists who are coordinating editorial strategy and guiding a team of reporters for NPR’s StateImpact network. Previously, they both helped launch the online news organization, The Texas Tribune, where they covered Texas government and politics. Elise’s interest is in new story forms and multimedia projects; Stiles’ focus is technology and data-driven investigative journalism.
They have completely opposite personalities.
This is a personal blog space, launched just before our May 2010 wedding and used to update friends scattered around the globe about latest shenanigans, including garage sales and the like. Any views expressed here are not the views of our employer.
